Jenergy Update May 11
Today is Mother’s Day.
It’s not for performance. It’s not for the curated caption. It’s for the women who’ve mothered in silence, in systems that erased them, in bodies still aching from the weight of what they carried.
It’s for the ones who’ve mothered children, ideas, partners, themselves, and still managed to show up without a thank you. Mother isn’t a title. It’s a transmission. One that pulses through the woman who holds more than she speaks and softens without collapsing.
So if today feels tender, complex, beautiful, or completely unhinged, you’re not doing it wrong. You’re just tuned in. And you deserve more than a mimosa. You deserve flowers that didn’t come from an apology. You deserve a life where your pulse isn’t something you silence to keep peace. You deserve to be held the way you hold.
So this is for you.
The mother, the daughter, the disruptor, the divine.
Let them bring you flowers.
But they’ll never truly know what you survived to bloom.
